Chapter 792

Jack immediately turned his gaze towards the SUV, but unfortunately, the man had already put on a face mask,

making him invisible.

Jack didn't have tto question whether Tyler's words were true or false; he just followed him, running towards

the SUV.

Sadly, just as they got close to the back of the vehicle, the imposing SUV sped away.

In the rearview mirror, the reflection of two little figures stumbling and chasing after the car could be seen, but

Oliver didn't notice.

He unconsciously sped up and, without realizing it, successfully shook off the two kids.

Meanwhile, elsewhere.

Tyler finally stopped, reluctantly, his small hands propped on his knees as he gasped for air.

Looking up, the SUV had completely disappeared into the traffic, and he felt helpless.

Jack struggled to catch up, his breathing even louder than Tyler's, he said in between gasps:

"Tyler, I've been thinking, I'm sure you must have seen it wrong!"

Tyler stubbornly furrowed his brows, shaking his head: "I didn't see it wrong!"

"But how could that be? Just yesterday in the office, didn't we see what his dad looks like? His dad is super ugly,

with a face all burned!"

Tyler quickly recovered, calmly explaining to Jack:

"I heard my mom talking... a long tago, about people wearing realistic masks. These masks can be very

deceiving... What if his dad was wearing one of those masks?"

Jack hesitantly looked at him, "You suspect Margot's dad is actually our dad?"

"Yes!"

"But I still think it's unlikely."

Jack's naive brows knitted into a comical "S", incessantly voicing his own reasons:

"If it really was our dad, why wouldn't he recognize us? And Margot isn't Teresa, you know! Teresa is so pretty,

and Margot, well, she's not exactly a looker! You must have been mistaken!"

Jack had a point.

If Margot's dad really was their dad, why wouldn't he cforward and acknowledge them, instead of

pretending to be a stranger?

It just didn't add up!

But at the stime, Tyler was absolutely certain he hadn't seen wrong!

He really did see the side of Margot's dad's face, and it was unscathed!

The more Tyler thought about it, the more determined he became: "No! | must verify my guess!"

"What do you want to do?"

Tyler looked at Jack, then suddenly cupped his head, whispering his plan into his ear with great animation.

After a long whisper, he finally let go of Jack, asking worriedly: "What do you think?"

Jack looked troubled, clearly hesitating: "Is it really okay for us to do this? She might end up crying."

At Jack's words, the image of Margot crying her eyes out immediately cto Tyler's mind.

He suddenly felt a bit of compassion and hesitated.

But then, his clever mind spun a thought, and he looked determinedly at Jack.

"If she really is a little silly, she won't cry... She'll think... we're just playing with her, and she might actually be

happy!"

With such certainty from Tyler, Jack couldn't say much.

After all, Tyler was smarter and quicker on his feet. Following his brother's lead

was always the right choice.

Whatever Tyler decided, Jack would do.

That had to be right!

Thinking this, Jack also nodded firmly, "Okay! Let's give it a try then!"
