Chapter 551:
City Y.
After finishing her work, Stella went back to the hotel to rest. After ordering dinner, she went to the bathroom to
take a shower.
Once out of the shower, Stella cout wearing a bathrobe, her hair still dripping with water. Hearing the
doorbell ring, she assumed it was her dinner, so she walked over to open the door.
“RK!” Stella exclaimed when she saw him standing at the door. Her heart skipped a beat, and she was unsure of
what was happening.
“Honey,” RK greeted her, his gaze lingering on her as water dripped from her hair, sliding down her cheeks and
onto her collarbone, filling his eyes with desire.
“RK, why are you here?” Stella asked, eyeing the man in front of her, noticing how much he seemed to have
changed.
“I'm here to keep you company,” RK replied, handing her the items he was holding.
Stella glanced at the bag in his hand, the smell of food wafting from it, which only made her hungrier.
“There's no need. I've already ordered,” she said, attempting to close the door. But RK, stronger than her,

He turned around, pressing Stella against the door.
“RK, what are you doing?” Stella asked calmly, her eyes void of emotion.
“I just wanted to see you,” RK said, gazing deeply into her eyes, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Stella he
hadn’t seen in the past few years.
“Letgo. Leave now,” Stella demanded.
“Honey, can’t you chwith me? Please forgive me,” RK pleaded, his eyes filled with sorrow.

“RK, don’t makehate you even more.” A faint smile tugged at the corner of Stella's lips, but it didn’t reach
her eyes. Instead, her expression was chilling.
“Alright, Ill go, but please have dinner first,” RK responded, not wanting to deepen her resentment. For him, the
only option left was to slowly rebuild their relationship.
He handed the bag to Stella, who reluctantly took it.
With one last glance at her, RK opened the door and left.
Stella stood still, staring blankly at the items in her hands. After a moment of dazed silence, she walked over to
the sofa and opened the insulated container.
“Rene, where are you now?” Evan's voice cthrough the phone. He had something to discuss with RK earlier
but couldn't find him at the office. His secretary had no idea where RK had gone either.
“In’Y City,” RK responded, standing by the window and watching Stella as she ate.
“Brother, why are you in Y City?” Evan asked, holding the steering wheel with one hand and his phone with the
other.
“Stella is here,” RK explained, revealing his reason for being in the city.
Evan was at a loss for words. He wasn't sure if he should tell RK he had gone to see Stella.
“If there's nothing else, I'll hang up,” RK said, ending the call.
He picked up the glass of red wine beside him, his eyes fixed on Stella.
For the past three days, Stella had felt RK’s presence everywhere she went. Every day, he brought her food.
In the past, Stella might have felt thrilled at the thought of this president treating her so kindly. But now, things
were different. There was no going back. Stella wanted nothing more than to distance herself from him.
“Darling, you're back!”
As soon as Stella opened the door to her home, the first person she saw was Adrian, cradled in Tristan’s arms.
“Did Adrian miss his darling?” Stella asked, taking Adrian from Tristan and kissing his little face. She had missed
him dearly after three days apart.
When she saw RK at the hotel door, she had immediately thought of Adrian, relieved that RK hadn't taken him
away.
“Little one, cdown now. Darling has been tired all day. You're growing up, and you're getting heavier!
Darling can’t hold you for long anymore.” Tristan smiled at Stella as Adrian wriggled out of her arms.
“Now that you're back, I'll take my leave,” Tristan said with a smile, his eyes full of longing and love. Stella
nodded in acknowledgment.
“Adrian, Godmother will tuck you in. Stella, go see Brother Tristan out,” Emily, who had been standing nearby,
said while holding Adrian’s hand.
Stella nodded as Tristan waved goodbye to Adrian, changed his shoes, and prepared to leave.
“Brother Tristan, I've troubled you these past few days,” Stella said, feeling a bit embarrassed. After all, he had
been so kind.
“It wasn’t any trouble at all, Stella. Do you remember what you promised me?” Tristan asked, looking at her
affectionately. Stella recalled his words from that night. She nodded, realizing she wasn’t just giving Tristan a
chance, but herself one as well.
“Get srest. I'll be heading hnow,” Tristan said, gently kissing her forehead before walking out the door.
