Chapter 496
Yolanda knew what Dunstan and Daniel were worried about.
"Viktor now gets a taste of what it's like to walk again. When he can't walk tomorrow, he'll surely be scared of
spending the rest of his life in a wheelchair. He might have accepted his fate if | had just told him it was
incurable from the start.
"But I've given him hope and snatched it away from him, which is far more painful than being disabled since the
start. The hope of healing his legs will make him forget about today's humiliation, and even his daughter's
matter would be set aside for now. He'll cbegging for my help before long."
"| get it now!" Dunstan was hit with a realization. "I was wondering why you'd even bother treating someone as
awful as Viktor even if it's just for a day!"

Dunstan becrelieved after hearing Yolanda's explanation.
Soon after, Sharon returned to Willow Creek Clinic with a car full of groceries. Unaware of what had just
happened, she told Yolanda excitedly, "Yolanda, the steaks were on sale at the supermarket today! | bought tons
to stock your fridge. They'll last you for ages!"
Yolanda had just finished asking Baxter about how the clinic had been doing these days. With no patients left
and only half an hour till closing, she changed her attire at the back. She then headed hwith Sharon for
tacos.
Sharon had never been to any villas at Cerulean Abode before. She was amazed to learn that Yolanda's house
had the best location in the entire neighborhood. "Yolanda, do you have a guest room? Living alone in such a
huge house must be scary!"
Sharon had even offered Yolanda to stay with her at her place earlier today. But now, she was eager to move in
herself after seeing her villa.
"There are plenty of guest rooms on the second floor. Take your pick." Yolanda got out her cookware and started
preparing ingredients for tacos. Meanwhile, Sharon explored the house before returning to help prep some
veggies.
After half an hour, they enjoyed their first meal together in Yolanda's new home. It brought swarmth to the
empty villa.
It was soon Monday. Not only was it their first day back at school, but it was also when the monthly exam results
would be announced.
The students at First Academy arrived unusually early. Perhaps they were worried about their grades. Most
students were already there when Yolanda walked into Class A. They were huddled in groups while chatting
animatedly.
"I messed up the last math problem. Looks like I'll drop below thirtieth place again this time... Sigh..."
"You only got one wrong. | messed up even the multiple-choice questions! Forget about the top thirty, | won't
even make the top fifty!"
"Now that the results are out, that cheater will finally get kicked out of our school, right?" Someone raised their
voice on purpose when they saw Yolanda enter as if to make sure she could hear.
"Of course! You can only cheat your way to first place once!"
"I heard they had over a dozen teachers watching just her during the exam. This has never happened before!"
"Plus, she got different questions than us. Let's see how smug she'll act now!"
"I'll eat my own shit if someone like her who never studies gets first place!"
"Just announce the results already. I'm so sick of sharing a classroom with this fraud. Such bad luck..."
