Chapter 277
"Moreover, withand my clan here, there's no way anything could go wrong.
Even if you are a ‘miracle doctor," you won't have any opportunity to be of use, so just behave yourself and don't
cause us any trouble!" Jimmy snarked.
Yolanda was annoyed by Jimmy's tone. She completely ignored him and had no intention of speaking up.
Jimmy, having hit a wall, shot Yolanda an irritated glare but remained silent. The young men behind Jimmy
looked at Yolanda with mocking expressions.
To them, she was merely a little girl; even if she were a miracle doctor as Nigel claimed, she would be useless in
today's situation.
They had cto handle disputes in the martial world; what could a school-aged child possibly contribute?
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAlthough the members of the Eternal Clan had their criticisms of Yolanda, they had no authority to interfere with
Nigel's decisions and could only express their dissatisfaction through their looks, refraining from any overt
actions.
The group entered the elevator, and in no time, they reached the 20th floor of the Jades. As soon as Yolanda
stepped into the corridor on the 20th floor, she felt a heavy aura of hostility lurking around. She glanced around
and noticed that every seven or eight meters, there was a bronze knight statue.
Yolanda examined one of the statues; her expression changed slightly but quickly returned to normal as if she
hadn't seen anything unusual.
She continued walking forward.
The corridor was filled with surveillance cameras, making it an unsuitable place for conversation.
However, even if worse cto worst, she felt confident in leading Nigel and Brigham to safety.
Before long, they reached the end of the corridor, which opened into a presidential suite with a small conference
room. Jimmy stepped forward first and knocked on the door.
The door swung open shortly after.
Yolanda followed closely behind Nigel and Brigham into the room. Upon entering, she found that the space was
even larger than she had imagined.
In the small conference room sat more than ten people whose attire suggested they held sstatus-similar to
those who frequently visited the Jades.
However, Yolanda could see through their disguises at a glance. For instance, the slender young man in formal
attire closest to her was hiding his identity as a sniper beneath his polished exterior.
At the head of the conference table sat an alluring woman dressed in a tight black leather skirt. She wore
intricate and cumbersjewelry on her neck and wrists, exaggerated smokey eye makeup, and a skull-shaped
sticker decoration under
her eye.
"Mr. Hansen Senior, it's been stime, hasn't it?" The woman greeted Nigel with a seductive smile as he
entered with his companions.
"Black Widow?" Nigel's expression changed upon seeing her, anger flickering in his eyes. "It's you!"
"Black Widow?" Yolanda had never heard this nbefore; it seemed like someone well-known only around
Riverdale.
"Mr. Hansen Senior, | believe you can guess it'ssince few would dare to steal your goods throughout
Southdale!" Black Widow's smile grew even more radiant as she graciously gestured for Nigel and his group to
take a seat.
"Don't be shy; let's sit down and have a chat!"
